A day at Sea

We woke up on the day of November 13 to our first full day at sea.

We ate breakfast at the Windjammer Cafe as usual and then dropped off Allen and Gideon at the Ocean Adventure for the morning. Poor Lincoln misses out on all the fun!

We felt bad that he could not play with his brothers. Luckily, they had a Fisher Price playtime set up for his age group. He was in heaven playing with all those toys!

I think Daddy enjoyed having Lincoln being entertained and not having to be the entertainment.

It wasn't long before we had to pick up Allen and Gideon. After some homework we braved the wind and got into our swimming suits and tried the pool on deck. Swimming in the salt water pool was a bit different. The added floatation was nice, but it sure wasn't tasty if you accidentally inhaled some water! The pool didn't last long because the wind was so cold, so we all hopped into the hot tub, then enjoyed lunch at the poolside cafe. Hamburgers and hot dogs are always a hit with our family. Then is was time for ping pong!

After an afternoon at Ocean Adventure again, we picked up Allen and Gideon we headed to the card room for a round of spoons.

We had some good library time also the same evening. It made for a good bribe to get through dinner. The only complaint I had was the cigar smoke smell. The cigar affection ado group meets in the library and there was quite a residual smell.

No Ocean Adventure tonight! We went straight to bed so that we all were happy the next day. Do you like the dinosaur left by Cooper, our stateroom attendant?
