Fun with a roto tiller
Before we seed we have one goal: get as many rocks out as we can. We have some pretty rocky soil around here. Bruce has gone over the whole backyard with the tiller at least 3 times and we have pulled out some pretty big rocks. Who knew what was lurking beneath the soil? We are still not done. One of those hidden rocks flipped up and bent the gear casing, which led to more problems including breaking the chain. It has sat in our garage torn apart just calling Bruce's name in between all of our trips. I think though we may have a working tiller by the end of the week. Bruce has been diligently consulting diagrams on the Internet trying to figure out how to put it all back together after getting the replacement parts we needed. Way to go babe! Now we will put our noses back to the grindstone and see how many rocks surfaced over the last 2 months. Hopefully the grass will be soon to follow.
