Mills said it had been 18 months since last posting...yikes! She's on vacation early, so I'm home alone and filling my time with anything productive I can to keep sane. Here's a few pics for fun:
Lincoln loves to climb and his adorable smile is contagious.
Attempt at a kid photo. Lillie is crying for fear of "falling" as her brothers suggested the risk.
Sound of Music anyone? Our hills are alive!
Gracelyn (my "Little Gray") has been our earliest smiler. She's so full of life!
We boys seeing if we can hike a whoppin' two miles with our 72 hour kits, minus water.
Our return: daylight and shadows should tell you how long this took: right side of the pics is West. I ended up with the two heaviest packs, but the boys maintained great attitudes, were great at teamwork, and we enjoyed discussing favorite video games.
My captive for Halloween: Littlie is my little "Tinker Bell". Isn't she cute?
Backyard view. I LOVE our view: mountains, river, sky! This is just as the storm rolled through and left us a colorful gift.
Gideon loves to climb like his brothers. He's on top of the swing. He climbs down the chains. I'm glad it's only ten feet up right now. As much as he loves the outdoors, I'm sure cliffs are just years away.
Allen, at a whole 13 years old, is learning to be our photographer. He's getting better and does well listening to our tips. I'm in the never worn plaid, and the gorgeous gal on my right is my lucky lifetime catch! Her smile and radiant joy show well the aura she shares.
Speaking of my awesome wifey, she made me two huge pans of granola after I accidentally opened the wrong bag of oats (whole instead of quick) for breakfast one day. I should make this mistake more often. Granola is one of my favorite breakfasts, and she packed it with tons of yummy stuff! I love my wife!
I'd post more pics, but I don't think it'll let me right now. Still, this was fun to reminisce.
Later, Bruce.
