All Bruce wanted to do was find me an apple pastry at the Netto before we left Germany to celebrate my birthday. He got shut down left and right as he realized that he had no euro on him and they don't take credit card. He came home the night of December 22 so dejected. He finally fulfilled his desire. It only took a couple of days and a few thousand miles later for it to be realized. Thanks for the birthday moment Bruce!
