Trip to Delta, CO

For the new year, Bruce and I planned a trip to Delta, CO to take a look at a dental practice for Bruce to buy. He had been talking to the dentist through email and telephone and was pretty excited about this prospect. We drove the 4 hours to Grand Junction and stayed with our friends the Huffakers, then continued on to Delta early the next morning. We found the clinic and did a quick walk through the clinic and the house that came with it. The first impression did not go over very well. Over the next few days we met and talked with a lot of people, obtained bids on what it would take to bring the building up to code and kept praying. We left Delta with a few more friends and with a verbal agreement that we would rent the office from him initially to see if it is a good fit. We didn't feel good about buying with all the expenditures that would bring, so this sat well with us. We left Delta very happy.
