We had quite an adventure! Bruce's former missionary companion is stationed in Bamberg, about an hour away. We let Kyle and Melanie know that when they wanted to visit Prague, they could drop their kids off. At the same time we told our friends the Dahlke family that they needed to choose a weekend before Kirk deploys to get away without the kids. It just so happened that both of these events coincided on the same day!
Melanie and Kyle Strait drove down from Bamberg on Friday to spend family fun movie night with us. The next morning they woke up early and drove 2 hours to Prague and we woke up and got ready for our primary activity. The Dahlke's dropped their kids off at the primary activity and we took them home with us.
Two adults, 1 baby, 3 toddlers, 4 boys, and 3 girls. We had a blast! Mealtimes were adventurous, but the fun never stopped. We had an Easter egg hunt outside, movie time inside, lots of play time, and we even attempted bath time! It was nice to realize that Bruce and I could handle 11 kids, but I wouldn't want to do it on a daily basis!
