Bruce looks like he is having fun, doesn't he?  Meet Mr. Salmon who is now vacuum sealed in our freezer, along with a few of his friends. Bruce had salmon this summer on his canyoneering trip with his brothers and loved it! He jumped at the chance to fill our freezer.    I sure do hope our kids like it!

      

 

 Our friend Sheldon went up to Oregon on a fishing trip and brought us back some really large salmon.  Sheldon brought over his filleting board and knife to give Bruce a lesson on how to.  Then our friend Lori brought over her vacuum sealer and the party was on! We filleted and sealed into the late hours of the night (for us old people, that is midnight).  Salmon feast for the rest of the year!  YUM!
