We checked out of our hotel in London late morning. It seemed to be a little more upscale, but they absolutely loved our boys and treated us nicely.

By the afternoon, we took the train out to Portsmouth, England to enjoy the coast for a few days.

The boys enjoyed the train ride and we topped it off with a taxi ride. They were in Heaven!

We stayed at the Arden House Bed and Breakfast. Just down the street was a great park. It had a playground, a pond with paddleboats, inflatables, and room to run. The eatery options though weren't that great. By the end of the week we learned that you need to stick to chicken and stay away from the hamburgers and hot dogs. We then walked across the street and found a cozy spot to play in the water and hunt for seashells.

Allen and Gideon stuck together. They were afraid of the undertow, so venturing out far took some strength, courage, and of course, a buddy.

Lincoln was scared of the seaweed. I tried to show him what it was, but he still stuck to his original opinion.

Isn't he hot?

Beautiful!

Playing on the beach worked up an appetite. Bruce grabbed some sandwiches at the grocery store and I grabbed some Chinese takeout, and we had a feast. Then we all went upstairs and crashed.

SWEET DREAMS!
