We arranged to stay in the Abbey Court Hotel in London. We took the bus from the Stansted Airport and stayed on the bus a little bit too long, giving us plenty of practice converging on the city with three kids and our luggage. We had to walk a bit, and take a few undergrounds to finally arrive at our hotel, only to find that they lost our reservation! No worries, though. They upgraded us from a triple room to an apartment for the night because it was their error. WE had three separate rooms. They were small, but good. We had a washer and dryer, kitchen, living room, and a bedroom. Lincoln slept in the babycot, while Allen and Gideon shared the couch. After working out lodging, we headed to a recommended Italian restaurant to eat, then went for a walk. In true London fashion, it rained. That did not deter us though! We found a playground in Hyde Park and the boys endured the wet bottoms while they played.
