Happy April Fool's Day!

In the spirit of the 1st day of April, the boys came up with a great idea.  What if we made Dad a funny lunch to take him at the office?  Allen and Gideon brought in boxes from the garage and neatly made sure they stacked inside of each other.  Inside the smallest boxes was his leftover lunch.  To make matters even sweeter, we got a very important letter in the mail from the State Dental Board.

The boys liked their Dad's reaction to the jumbo sized lunch.  It totally made their day.  And the letter totally made Bruce's day.  Now we could lay this care to rest!

One month after opening the doors to H-Dentistry, we were threatened with a lawsuit.  Bruce attorney told him to go ahead and pay out of his insurance, but Bruce refused.  He had done nothing wrong in the treatment of this particular patient and he wasn't going to back down.  The suit was brought against Bruce and his hygienist Diane.  Both sides had to submit paperwork to the state board and they would review it.

Oh the joy when things work out as they should.  Diane started to cry with joy.  She had been anticipating and worrying about what the board would decide.  It could jeopardize her hygiene license.  The board decided to drop the case, as the patient did not have any legitimate claims to bring to them. One less thing to worry about, though I dare say, I am sure that it won't be the last.
