This year we headed up to Silt to find the perfect pumpkins for Halloween. We caravaned up with our friends the Pittmans. We all got out (me with 4 kids and Liz with 7, we each had some extra daycare kids) to find things a bit disappointing, but proceeded anyway, since we were there. I had each of the kids pick out a pumpkin, then I picked one out, then we picked one out for Bruce. It was quite a site to see the boys roll their pumpkins out of the patch and to see a pregnant gal manhandle a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins. Oh the memories.

We left with a car full and with our job of pumpkin carving cut out for us.
