View from the top looking down from the cable car building The first trip we took together was down to Garmisch. We enjoyed Linderhof Palace and the gardens, as well as the town of Garmisch, then we took a jaunt to Mittenwald. The cable car ride up the mountain was fun for the boys. We hiked our way up to the top just in time for the clouds to roll in and for it to hail on us! Coming down was surreal as we descended surrounded by clouds and feeling the hail. What an adventure! We then grabbed lunch at a cafe, then toured the violin museum in Mittenwald. Madeline was in heaven.
